ITALIAN DOUBLE CHEESEBURGERS
[Feeds 4] Ingredients: 4 hamburger buns 1 T butter 1 lb (454g) ground hamburger, Meatloaf mix blend 4 bredded Veal patties 1 T Italian spice 1/3 cup Marinara sauce 4 slices Mozzarella cheese 1 t salt 1 t Pepper 1 t Garlic Powder Instructions:
Step #1-
Divide the burger into 4 evenly sized pieces and form them into patties and place them In a large frying pan over medium heat. Sprinkle the burger patties with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and the Italian seasoning. Add the veal patties to the pan and cook until the burger browns half way up the sides of the patties, about 3 minutes, then flip all the patties including the veal patties.
Step #2-
butter the buns and toast them in a toaster oven, butter side up. Continue cooking the patties for another 3 to 5 minutes, or until the juices flow clear colored out the top of the patties and the meat is browned to desired doneness. Remove the burger buns from the toaster oven and put them on a plate. Put the hamburger patties on the bottom half of each bun, then flip the veal patties again and put a slice of cheese on each and continue cooking for 1 minute. Place a veal patty on top of each burger patty, and spoon about 1 Tablespoon plus a teaspoon of marinara sauce on each one and cover with the bun tops.
